It will be helpful for you and your wife to tell what fabric was actually used and any special equipment (needle type, walker) or special technique used (narrow zig zag). This way it allows sewers to learn different fabrics and so we can get the same look as what outlined on the pattern envelope. And by the way, I love Mimi G sew alongs but you are the bomb too and I look forward to more of your sew alongs for women and men patterns.

I used an eco fleece for the fabric on the cover. You should be using a stretch needle if you have lots of stretch and a universal needle would work if the fabric is less stretchy. A regular standard walker is just fine and all the important techniques are should in the sew-along. Was there anything specific you had questions on?

@@NorrisDantaFord No. I love your videos and thank you for the fabric/equipment information you used. You’re very thorough and patient in explaining. It was just a general suggestion for when you and your wife do your videos to give that fabric/equipment information for those of us that want our final garment to look like what’s on the envelope. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing more sew along videos from you 👍🏽

Thank you for this video! I want to make these using faux leather as well. How did you apply your interfacing on the faux leather?

Thank you for this. When is this pattern coming to the UK?

I'm currently making these pants with a ponte knit fabric, and on all my tests on scrap fabric, the snaps pull out of the fabric, even with double layers of interfacing. Any suggestions?

You do yourself a disservice when you say these videos are not for beginners. Your explanation is very easy to follow, even for a complete novice (such as myself), that still has to look up doing anything on my machine.

How long did this take to make please?
@NorrisDantaFord2 жыл бұрын
Not very long. Actually once you get pass the details it’s a pretty quick sew. If would have to guess on a time frame I would say 3 hours give or take after prepping.

just a suggestion if you happen to have the extra time, it would be helpful if you added time stamps on the video for each step/section of the video! Thank you for the guide though!
