I don't know activision, but these are flippin beautiful! I love the technique of pre-baking it then cutting for the right effect. So cool! Even making use of the shavings! So resourceful! You're such a clever wee thing.

Those crystals look amazing! I could make a Traptanium crystal charm and wear it. Also, I play Skylanders as well, and it's an amazing video game series! My favorite character is, unfortunately one that I don't have, but she's a water dragon named Echo. She has sound powers, as well she can make bubbles that track down enemies and explode on impact.

I love this method, i have been seeing people makung crystal resin pendents useing reins aloy lately and i love them, but my friend used a real quartz crystal to make a crystal mold, this tutorial just save me money on buying a crystal just to mold thatnk you ^_^

Jackie I have a question about resin. Does it get really hard? I've used the epoxy resin that comes in the syringe like plunger. It never seemed to get really hard. my nail would leave a dent. I want something I can use to dome over jewelry. Do you have a certain brand that you would recommend for this? Thanks for your help!

Neta McKinney I definitely recommend the brand I'm using. It gets incredibly hard. It's pretty much used as a table glaze, so it's pretty strong. Also depends how sharp your nails are lol

Having issues with this project. I can't get it to cut smoothly and it crumbles a little. When a glitter flake is brought to the surface, sometimes it just falls off and leaves a little pit. I am thinking my best bet would be to make a perfect crystal point from Milliput, make a mold, then bake the opal clay in the mold.
