This is the first useful/big thing I’ve ever sewn, so naturally it kinda sucks, but it still turned out surprisingly good. The video was so easy to follow too; I modified mine a bit so it would work for my Halloween costume and it looks amazing. Thank you for the great tutorial! ❤️

I want to do this, just with lavender and white. I'm not sure which would look better, lavender on top, as tulle with white as the base underneath or if I should do it lavender base on bottom and white tulle on top. it'll also be longer than this. opinions? (the shirt I'll be wearing with it will be white lace. it's for a Military Ball.)

Thank you for this! I have two tulle skirts that don’t fit me anymore. I’ve lost weight! I’ve wanted to not only take them in, but also shorten them. I’ve gotten more comfortable with my legs, they’re super long, I’m 4’ 11”. I plan to take them apart now and fix them up!

It's based on want length she wants. Since your 5'3 you can use the measuring tape and measure how long you want

Make the elastic tighter. Keep the fabric the same width as your hips, but make the elastic the size of your waist. The result will be more gathers, depending on the difference between your hip and was it measurements.
