You could definitely adjust to fit whatever size if they sell a big enough lift. The challenge was making the height of the cabinet not too tall so it still looked good. With a taller TV you have less options for that.

What is that purple or pink stuff you layed underneath the boards when cutting them?

Hi Nathan. This is great! One question I have, did you mount the lift to the side of the cabinet or bottom? And can you point to which exact mdoel was it? Cause I checked their website and all the lifts looked like they had bottom mounting brackets. Thanks
@NATHANBUILDS2 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks! The lift mounts to the back of the cabinet. They have great directions as well so don't worry. Check out the video description for a link to the one I used. You can switch it up depending what size tv you want. However anything larger than the one I used will not work with my cabinet design so keep that in mind! You can increase the height of the cabinet if you need to accommodate a larger tv, but I thought the current dimensions looked best.

@@NATHANBUILDS indeed, can I ask how did you cable manage for the movement of the tv? as that was what I wanted to learn. I was thinking of cable tying one point to the side of the cabinet with cable slack so it stays out of the way and maybe i'll add a firewall to ensure it does not touch the lift mechanism.
@NATHANBUILDS4 жыл бұрын
Yes that is exactly what I did. The lift comes with cable ties. It has power on the lift so you don't need to run that up. I didn't use a firewall and I don't think you need to. I've not had any issues so far.
