How many meters of string do you recommend per ball?
@thecraftingnookds2 жыл бұрын
That will depend on the size of the ball. Mine for example you can see the proportions with my hand, took 3 meters. Hope this helps!

@thecraftingnookds2 жыл бұрын
Espero haberte ayudado! 😊

Hi! Can I make this ornaments with cold silicone?
@thecraftingnookds4 жыл бұрын
To be honest I have never tried and since I never use cold silicone I can't even say if it would be possible since you would need to be able to dilute it with water. Maybe you could experiment and see if it works! Thank you for reaching out!

What's the stuff in the white bottle?
@thecraftingnookds3 жыл бұрын
That's glue, the overlay text gives you the proportion, 2 parts glue, 1 part water. Hope this clarifies! Kind Regards!

Whenever i make this and pop the balloon the whole thing deflates and becomes a huge mess of string. Why is that? 👀
@thecraftingnookds4 жыл бұрын
The only thing I can think of is that the glue is not strong enough. Your twine ball when dry should be very stiff and hard to deform. If you notice in the video, I first try to detach the balloon from the twine before deflating it, this helps you know for sure if the ball is hard enough. For example in my case, the glue I knew it was very strong, so I diluted it with water. Then the twine should be soaked completely in the glue and then wrap the balloon. You can also try using vaseline on the balloon before warping with the soaked twine. The quality of the glue plays a big role, if you use school glue maybe reduce the proportion of water, maybe 70-30. Hope this helps! Happy holidays!

You need to let it dry a little bit longer. A couple of days to make sure 😊.

Y las medidas del hilo
@thecraftingnookds2 жыл бұрын
Espero haberte ayudado.

It looks great but it takes so much string and one balloon to make just one ball. Multiply that by the number of balls you want to make. It is probably cheaper to just buy balls
