I've seen these before, but never like this. This is fantastic. I sell scrunchies and some bows now and again, but avoided this. I tried with other videos and they wouldn't stay in on my head, and the fiddling around to hide seams was insane. This is so simple. I could repurpose a shirt I no longer wear, or from the local thrift shops. Thanks again Christine 😊❤

Morning Christine. Thank you for your generosity in sharing your tutorials. I love the way you teach. The pace is particularly good. Often I only have to watch once or twice to complete a project. And I am always delighted with the results. You are my new hero! It’s wonderful to hear an Aussie voice too!! Ps just a tip for you: making the Mini Tissue Holders, I cut an extra 6” x4”; so I have 4. 2 for the folded sides, and 2 for either side of a very very light iron on wadding. This does 3 things. It gives the pouch a bit of stability in its base AND i cannot make a mistake which side is the inside or outside😂, and the inside looks as good as the outside for when the customer changes the tissue pack. Probably a bit of over kill on my part, but I was using light fabric that needed the extra stability. All kindness & grateful thanks to you. Christine WA.

It's a great tip Christine, and certainly worth doing. Where I usually like my insides as neat as outsides, I figured not many people were likely to notice the inside as it's so small, and they just pop a new bag in. As long as I keep it all neat inside it's a good time saver for selling🙂🙂

I have been hunting for terry cloth sweat bands made like the ones sold during the 1970's and 1980's. I need some for when I am working outside mowing, gardening, potting, and just walking when it is hot (to keep sweat out of my eyes, to keep sweat from running down the back of my neck, and to keep bugs from trying to get in my ears. The ones that are being sold today are not large enough to cover as much of the head as the old terry cloth sweat bands designed for women did. Thank you for this video.

Thank you so much for the video! Great tip about the turning. One question, when you sew a big piece and cut them to size, won’t the stitches come out? Or not to worry because you are closing up the ends anyway. I have a few domestic machines but no over locker-yet… lol. As always a great video with awesome instructions and clarity. I look forward to your next videos!!! (Truth be told when one pops up in my notifications, I get excited and have to watch it right away. I’m getting myself a lil crazy with all the things you have made, that I wanna make. One day the sewing/craft room will be done to actually have space, and to find things easier.)
@ChristinesHomeAffairs2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Michelle. As you're still closing the end, it won't unravel the previous cut ends providing you sew over them.... I rearrange my sewing spaces almost monthly, and still can't find anything 🤔 Perhaps that's my problem 😆
@michelleraisner86862 жыл бұрын
My mother had fallen in December and shattered her shoulder, shattered her elbow, fractured her pelvis and had to move in with us to recuperate. I had to clean out my whole room and pack things away to so she could be comfortable while therapy and resting. She is finally strong enough and confident enough to be able to go home soon. So once I know she is ok at home, I will start to unpack and set up.

They are so useful! I have a bit of an issue with my last seam, my overlocker seems to stretch the seam. If anyone has any advice I'd really appreciate it. I've been waiting to figure it out before making them to sell. Thanks so much for your generosity and detailed explanations.

France, if you can adjust the differential feed on your overlocker that will help. Not all have that feature though😀
