HI! I love the technique you used for the channel for the drawcord. Question: is there a calculation for folding the triangle down? I have not seen this technique before!

Great stuff and nice visuals! Subbed. Do you like your sewing machine ? Is there any cons ?

Thanks! Hard to beat for the price! The one area I’ve had problems with is sewing really thick things, like sewing through the foam of a shoulder strap 7+mm, its a struggle.

@@zipworks Nice work! I'm looking for a new machine, so I am curios - what has been the issue with sewing thick material - feeding or needle power?

@@adampersson9379 for one thing thick materials just don’t fit, the lift is only 7mm. And then I’ve had lots of broken needles and birds nests when trying to force it.. Using a more heavy duty needle like a 110 helps with the second part…

What stitching pattern would you recommend for this?

I'm confused - you sew the edge then turn it inside out then sew it again then turn it inside out again?
@zipworks2 жыл бұрын
It’s called a french seam, the benefit being that there is no raw edge
