I just put a $500 hold deposit down on my 2 Salty's!! I really only needed to put $100 per Yak but I'll put the $500 towards total price. My local dealer, Line Cutterz has been out of stock for over 7 months & the Old Towns go fast. He just got 30 in yesterday & they are all just about spoken for. I just added a piece of starboard to the rear pole mount location. Then added a 6" track plate onto it. 1/4 #20 coarse thread bolts.

I have the 106 MK and it’s awesome. I’m upgrading it at with a MotorGuide XI 3 mounted on the bow. I can’t live without spotlock and the whole upgrade will take less than an hour. Not cheap though but my yak will be exactly how I want it

I'm not understanding how 1 bolt is better than the other for the rudder? Couldn't the plastic washers be added to the stock bolt? Appreciate clarification, thanks

No nut with the stock bolt. Just a pin. Super lose.

At 2:03 you mention missing a nut and knob on the pedal drive. I did not see in the video where you replaced it. If you did, where did you find the replacement bolt?

When peddling in reverse on the 106 have you noticed a repetitive thumping? Forward is smooth but backpeddeling is not smooth. Have you come across this? Love everything except this issue. Oldtown said it's "cavitation"... I'm not sure about that.

Not much. I only peddle back to hold position. Half peddles really.
