OLD TOWN SPORTSMAN| Upgrades For Salt Water Kayak Fishing!

The final stages of building our new Old Town Sportsman PDL 120! We were fortunate enough to have the old hull replaced under warranty, but that meant switching all of our accessories over to the new hull. After 3 seasons of Kayak Fishing we finally put all of the puzzle pieces together to make this the Ultimate Salt Water Fishing Kayak!

My suggestion is to use a action hat gopro mount or a chest mount if you want people to see better

Action hat is definitely something we're looking at. Our plan is to have 2 Go Pros each so the angles are endless, and we can switch it up each video! 🙌🙌

Where did you get your keel guard from?

We made them out of a 12" x 24" sheet of kydex which worked perfect for making two keel guards out of one sheet. It is .08" thick. Tons of kydex options on Amazon which is where we got the sheet from.

Just curious will that rod holder stand up to a 50 or 60lb catfish

Can't say for sure because we've never tried, but it works great for 20lb Salmon!
