DIY UZI. NON SHOOTING MODEL: Total disassembly, parts, materials, manufacturing details

Some details of making this NON-SHOOTING project.
Indeed, the self contained fire control group in the Uzi handle is awesome.
As I mentioned 3 telescoping sizes of square tube serve as the receiver, top cover, end cap and the bolt carrier.
A square mild steel block telescoping inside the carrier serves as the bolt. Many South African SMG-s use this simple technology to make telescoping bolts from parts instead of doing it from one solid material. Modular construction.
I have seen on the web several Gevarm like bolt faces, and fried to emulate it using Dremel.
I played around with different configurations of the bolt and carrier- thus so many threaded holes. And also had to remove a load of material to make it of the weight fitting 22 lr blow back energy requirements.
Also, to reduce the friction of the carrier - shaved off the number of points of contact with the receiver. That,s why it looks skeletonized and ridiculous.
The end cap is locking solidly for the 22 cal scale, but if it were 9 mm it would have to be locked more securely.
AGAIN : This is one of my 1t projects… I did not know much about out weapons at the time, I was in the dark…and testing the waters. A lot of things I would do differently nova days
, but it is nostalgic and I will leave it as is….

Much appreciated! I have not planned to show the standard Uzi handle which contains their standard magwell and the fire control- bunch of 3d x ray videos show it in details. Easy to find info. The bottom of my receiver simply has a key looking hole matching the profile of HK270 mag. Encased in a plastic shell( conversion kit) it fits perfect in the 9 mm UZI well.

Я так понимаю вы взяли стандартную рукоятку с механизмом от УЗИ, а все остальное сконструировали сами, с оглядкой на Ингрэм. Прикольно получилось, особенно дырявая затворная рамка, вес наверное подгоняли.

Спасибо. Иногда во вред себе и другим ответственностям- потом приходится нагонять. А с другой стороны некоторые были длительные или давние проекты. Насчет проработанности- увы не всем доволен, что то можно было сделать или переделать лучше, чище, грамотнее. Но опять же- время и пересыщение конкретным проектом , новое увлечение заставляют остановиться …иногда с внутренним позором

Возвратно боевая пружина часом не от строительного степлера? Почему затвор в задней части куда вставляется вкладыш такой ажурный? Для облегчения или готовая деталь от чегото..?

Пружина от Ругера Марк4. Затвор из трубы как я говорил, но возникал не единым планом, а как постепенный метаморфоз. Прошел много стадий и изменений. Посему непотребные дырки и в целом гротескный вид. И для облегчения когда ампутировал метал, тоже трудно да и лень было делать гладко- и бегать к весам все время. К стати вначале у него был вкладыш кусок затвора от того же Ругера . Мой Gevarm дал мне идею последней редакции.

Приветствую Виталия! идею хотел бы подкинуть - у пистолетов скользящий затвор - это масса и инерционность, влияющая на точность. А что если попытаться реализовать - с газоотводом как у М16 прикинул по схеме получается вроде как - но влияет на увеличение габаритов и уже стремится к размерам ПП

Я в основном работаю в шкале 22 калибра. Ему не нужны сложные системы автоматики. Простой свободный затвор, 3й закон Ньютона. К тому же . Сделать герметичную газовую систему как в моей фабричной АР15 трудно в домашних условиях. С простыми инструментами.

у м16 затвор на 7 упорах и соответственно в казенной части ствола нужно фрезеровать ответные пазы 7 шт, короче это сложно и требует специального оборудования, хотя сам пытался придумать систему, где затвор на 2х упорах, но отперается не за счет газовой системы, а от помпы как у помповых ружей аля система garand только без газовой системы
