Hi Lisa...I haven't been using Creative Paper Clay for long but I found out the hard way that it doesn't always dry perfectly flat if you need it that way... no matter how I intend to use the molded pieces I always glue them onto the surface of my item whether it's flat or curved and paint them right away. I've never had a problem when I use them that way,...another video I watched mentioned placing a stamp block on top of a piece to keep it flat until it dries...I'll have to try that next...you could always use the back side of a large stamp on top of your piece or a lightweight piece of wood, whatever you have as long as it's not too heavy....loved the video, can't wait to see your spring items

Your cut outs are awesome I have used stamps into the clay cause I didn't have any mods. It worked really well. You just have to clean up the edges with an exacto knife and sand after it drys thoroughly. I used cooked porcelain clay for this. Can you tell me what brand of clay you used here again ? I didn't quite get it Love the heart and fabric garland also. It's beautiful !!
