You control your chemicals ..in my days I use to go with my grandfather to the garden every weekend .i was about 13 yrs old .the garden was in San Juan .where courts is located now..and the only thing he used to put was .cow manure and blue growing salt .and the veggie was very healthy

Just some tips: He's planting the patchoi to far apart, and it's 3 weeks it's ready to harvest

you have to like the gardening , it can be so rewarding .... the making of compost is a good idea ... dont burn any grass use it ... and seperate the garbage into organic( like fig skins ,pumkin skin ect ) and add to the compost heap..... then add to your plants the plants would love you for it
