if you dont have a heat gun will it still last?

I would recommend using a combination of adhesive promoter and heat to help the wrap move around those kinds of angles. but if you don’t use heat, just make sure you don’t over stretch the wrap and that the surface is very clean

If I were to wrap my pillar and wanted to go back to the stock look. Is it difficult to take off the vinyl?

It should peel off with some elbow grease but if the vinyl is cheap, it may cause damage to the pillar
