I just found your channel and I want to say, it's so great and informative!! I am considering sewing my own wedding dress, I have sewing experience in the past, but because it's such an important gown, the task is quite stressfull... but watching your videos makes me more confident! with all this information I know I'll be alright! I don't think you should scrap it. It may not be exactly how you wanted but it is still beautiful and you can make it into something a bit different than the original plan, and then just make another one that way.

Maybe instead of folding the raw edge in once fold it in twice as if you’re gonna hem and then the edge will be concealed.

If medically retired and you have a diagnosis from a Doctor, you may qualify for help from your local State Rehabilitation. Check into this, please. You will be sent to school and get help buying your equipment needed for your chosen occupation. Amanda, I expect to see your fashions in Bridal or Prom dress stores soon.

Everything you make is so beautiful. And so many good tips! I was wondering when you pinned your lace, how did you get the pin to not go in to your mannequin fabric- if that makes sense. I have one of those cheaper styrofoam mannequins but I don't think that makes much of a difference, it's just that every time I try to pin things on to other fabrics that are tightly fitting on to the mannequin, somehow most of the pins catch some of the mannequins fabric do my garment is basically stuck to my mannequin. If you have any tips I would appreciate it!
