In today's how to make a wedding dress tutorial I will be showing you guys how to drape the pattern for my latest custom wedding dress. My next video in this series will be me working on truing the pattern and making the mock up.
Fabric Consumption:
Face Fabric- 10.5 yards
Underlining- 4 yards (if using 118" muslin) 10.5 yards (if using organza)
Illusion Fabrics- 1 Yard
Lining- 10 Yards
Notions:
50 covered buttons
2 yards of button loops or you can make your own
Various beads for bead work (seed beads, pearls, crystals)
1 yard of Cotton Fusible interfacing (I use SF-101 from Joanns)
1/2" and 1/4" Rigiline Boning
10 yards of 1" Horse Hair Braid
1 Invisible Zipper

Hey how would you grade the patterning for a bigger size

To be honest I do not know how to grade. I would just completely draft it again for another size. Most of the dresses I make are one of a kind so grading wasn’t necessary to learn lol.
