DIY Wedding Dress: Simple Wedding Dress

In today's Sew Along I will be showing the process of sewing a wedding dress. This is a simple crepe wedding dress that features and illusion back and lace details. This dress is the perfect DIY Wedding Dress for a dressmaker bride.
Things you will need to sew along with me:
Fabrics used:
6 yards of Crepe Fabric
6 yards of Thin Satin (lining)
1 Yard of Organza
2 Yards of Lace
Notions used:
Matching Thread
1 pair of bra cups
1 24 inch Zipper
1 yard button loops

Hey! I used the Casa collection crepe fabric in the color “Snow white” and the Casa Collection stretch satin in “Snow White” both from Joanns. I would recommend a crepe back satin or crepe de chine for the lining instead of the satin though. It was too thick.

Do you underline/ interline the skirt as well

I didn’t here, but I do recommend that you do bc the crepe is pretty see through. I definitely will underline the skirt the next time I make this dress.

I noticed you didn't do boning or bra cups. Do you still do same way for a busty person?

I would assume that would be up to if the busty person wants a bra or wants to wear stickies (which would mean they don’t mind a bit of saggy boobage because both are a look depends which one you are going for 🤷‍♀️)
