I love watching the process of your creations! I'm getting married in August of next year. I have a specific vision, but no sewing talent(and no positive self esteem to go to a dress shop to buy one) so I'm settling with one that mostly fits me that I bought for $45 from the thrift store. However, I still enjoy seeing how people make theirs, even if I can't do it myself!

Congratulations on your wedding! Going to a non wedding shop for a dress is valid. That said, I encourage you to try a few more shops and find something where you don't feel like settling. You might find something where you feel really satisfied.

Everything I've seen you make is so amazing and beautiful! I sew everything by hand. I have two sewing machines, but I'm more comfortable doing it by hand. I've sewn a king size quilt together by hand.

Quick tip- Next time you sew appliqués to mesh (or any translucent fabric) sew it from the opposite side, much smoother without getting caught on pins and beads.
