What a fantastic video, and super easy to explain, thank you! I'm definitely going to try it this week. What I'm just wondering, why do you cut out a palm tree first and then emboss? Not only do I try to imitate it, but I also try to understand it so that I can apply it myself in any new projects :).

Hi! This is how you get the template for the emboss. If you skipped this step, you wouldn't not be able to emboss! I hope this helps

How long does the cut cardstock part last? Do u need to change it after a few tries?

it will last for all of your cuts! If for some reason it doesn't you can always repeat :)

Thank you Amy! The tutorial I’ve been waiting for 🤩 I had a go at the previous tutorial and it worked great! I was wondering how heavy the invitation cardstock for the “Save the date” embossing was? I am wondering how heavy of a cardstock I can emboss onto - I wanted a thicker cardstock but unsure if it will emboss nicely?

Hi! So glad you enjoyed this tutorial 😊 the exact cardstock I used is linked in the video description - it’ll tell you once you click on it! The thicker the better honestly, I’m not sure if you can get 200 lb cardstock but it’s always worth a try!

I loved this tutorial. As a bride to be who IS planning a wedding in mexico this gives me some ideas :) But idk if it's worth it to emboss 75 invitations. Do you have any tips of speeding up workflows for embossing?

aww congrats to you! truthfully, since it's for your wedding (and not a business where you're constantly embossing) I would do it! Because once it's done, it's done ya know? I think I mentioned it in the last part of the video (or the previous tutorial) that you can add 2 invitations on one mat, or get the 12x24 mat and add more so it speeds up the process! hope this helps
