DIY Window Treatment | DIY Cornice Board | DIY |

In todays video I'll be showing you how you can transform any room by simply adding this modern, clean & simple window treatment. I appreciate you watching, hope this video was helpful and has inspired you!
What I used:
*Insulation Foam Board
*Measuring Tape
*L Shape Ruler
*Pen or Pencil
*Fabric of your choice
*Hot Glue gun
*D ring hooks

better if you use batting underneath fabric...just glue it down on foam board first. I generally add a top piece and line the inside.

Thank you. Mine turned out great! It was easy to do and worked perfectly for my kitchen window! I used the same fabric that matched my kitchen chairs. It was a bit thicker than yours, but still worked out well! I wish I could post a picture.

This is exactly what I was looking for, excellent. For patio door I have been looking for lighter material since wood makes it very heavy to hang. I hope it doesn’t sag in the middle as the length would be 100 inches.

It would also make it easier to stretch and smooth the fabric to avoid the wrinkles.

I have some old chenille bedspreads (white) that I want to use to cover cornice boards. My style is minimalist but shabby chic.

Could you use spray adhesive instead of hot glue?

You need to show ALL details of how to hang the cornice. Some people are not handy and would not have a clue how to hang it.

Just maybe have edges the same size and not use pins. otherwise the front was nice, just flat/one dimensional.

You could put yard stick criss cross on the back after you wrap fabric, paint yard sticks same color as fabric. Just a thought

Why not use 3m wall strips?, especially better for renters and those foam boards don't weigh much., just seems so much simpler.

221 inch would be very wide to cut not sure if the foam board is as wide maybe try thin wood board ??
