This is a perfect explanation! I do polymer clay jewelry and love to incorporate wire, but sometimes I didn't figure out the findings nicely. This is a cute and clean solution. I also use a slim little piece of wood over the cloth pieces for hammering and looks really neat. Thank you for sharing and Happy Holidays.

I’m so glad hearing that this tutorial is helpful for you :) It’s a good idea using thin piece of wood while flattening the pieces, I like using cloth because I can feel exactly with my fingers where I’m hammering on the pieces. Hope you have a wonderful holiday too :)

Hello, Love this tutorial and would like to give it a try. The plan is to use 14K gold filled (brass base) wire. What gauge should I use and will dead-hard wire suffice or should I get half-hard wire?
@MaggieCSAtelier Жыл бұрын
I’ll suggest using half hard wires, it’s more forgiving when you have to make some adjustments when shaping. Hard wires tends to break off easily when you do that. Hope this helps :)
