DIY Wood Stamped Concrete - Harbor Freight Cement Mixer

I've never done concrete before but why don't people place the mixer where they are putting the slab and pour it directly? just asking because I'm about to start a project.

@@l.antoniomalave3285 I did it farther away because I made a mess around the mixing site. I’m not pro by any means, hopefully someone with knowledge will answer. My only tip would be to not mix it too wet, I did and because of it the finish has some exposed rock, and may not be as tough as if I mixed it correctly. Good luck 👍
