Yes, you can pretty much cut the outer lip out instead of cutting the corners first.

The price quotes could vary depending on the style of a rim, most will be more difficult to wrap with vinyl. There are other options to wrapping wheels, I have video tutorials on how to spray wrap your wheels from home if you’re interested.
