DIY Your Own Anthropologie Jeans (NO SEW)

Lol, I've been looking forever how to make the old school jeans like my mom mentioned she used to make where you cut the jeans down the side and add a bunch of different fabric to make the ultra big bell bottoms they used to make in the 60s...but maybe not so 60s, more like a softer cottage look.... This is close... I see them all the time on Pinterest, but they never have a link to anything, they just have the pictures, not even a link to a pattern or tutorial on etsy! This is much closer than anything else I've seen, though, so I'm getting closer! I've even seen them cut sweat pant style pants, then add long lace pieces to the bottom then add patchwork pockets out of vintage hankies, and patches on the thighs... Soooo cute, I think your idea here would work great for that! I think if I cut the jeans, I'd definitely have to sew the patches in though, lol! Thanks again!
