Ben you are like the Frank Lloyd Wright of this modern era! I believe people are going to be looking to your videos well into the next century and beyond for inspiration. Thank you for your awesome inspirational ideas! I would love to see your take on a tiny house.

Yes! Yes! This is exactly what I wanted to transition from our dining area to our living area. Instead of a sofa, I will use your design to create a banquette for the dining table, and then a desk area behind. So cool-looking with the "zig-zag" edge -- I could see painting that plywood edge a bright color to accentuate the shape even more. Thank you Ben for continuing to "open-source" your innovations!

HomeMadeModern maybe also fake leather? Dont want to be a buzzkill, i really love your channel and projects, but its really unnecessary to use animal skin as a cushion cover. There are plenty great and cheap options without someone have to die! Nontheless, its a beautiful project ♥️

Job well done you two! Seeing this reminds me of the "modern" homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright back in his day, when the idea was to make use of every available square inch of space; when furniture was organic, natural and stylish, and minimalism didn't have to mean bleak. Once again, job well done and highly inspirational!

Quite a cool design! And great video editing/production. The only improvements I might want would be arms (maybe ones that can also act as side tables or have storage like the add-on piece at the end - only higher) and a pull-out or flip-up storage under the seat. Great for a tiny space.

Nice. I think for cold weather areas best to put it on legs and the study area in back accessed with bar stools, because low to the ground in cold weather areas is where the coldest air in the room resides.

That's a cool couch. Just curious why didn't you extend the plywood for the backrest all the way up and butted the piece of the bar top behind it? That way you would have a visible seam when you're looking at it from the front.

HomeMadeModern : This turned out Fantastic!! I'm working on patio furniture made from Pallets. It's basically an "L." I want to make the piece at the end of the patio to be able to flip, so I can socialize with guests, then flip seat and backrest so that it can face to Woods. Any suggestions on how I can make it happen. It's made of REALLY Good WOOD, even though it's made of Pallets. I don't know if I should install a few tracks with wheels, or if I could slide, flip and Lock into place so that the backrest becomes the seat and the seat becomes the backrest. Any input would be awesome!! Thanks!!!

Incidentally I made the industrial desk/table for my home office about a year ago. It turned out so well that I made another one, but with a wing on the side so I could extend it into a large craft table if I needed to.
