@@mr.N35 it’s called a “DIY” project for a reason. If you’re doing this for mass production or profit, then fine. Most DIY projects, you’re doing it with more accessible tools. A CNC is something most DIY’ers don’t have the money and/or space to have. Additionally, most DIY’ers are working by themselves in a garage and not with a team.

Yes, it can be a box cutter and foam glue in spray cans.

This was really good, up to the point where "a miracle just happens" and there is a correctly measured and sewn cover that materializes out of nowhere to finish the chair! Anyone who has built upholstered furniture knows that that is the single hardest part, and really the ONLY critical part to the success or failure. The foam can be significantly 'off', and a good cover will 'fix' it, but the opposite is NOT true!

Amazing! Would love to know the materials (which plywood and particle board and foam + glue) were used! Does that come in your plans? Also do your plans come with files I can use on a CNC?

We used 1525x1525mm plywood with a thickness of 15mm. In the drawings, there is a part layout for the CNC machine that can be used for cutting. There is also a layout for 1220x2440 mm format. There are molds for foam and fabric. Foam used highly elastic. Layers of different densities, but you can use any other.

Blue is the toughest, Pink is softer and more resilient, and white is just as resilient but even softer.

Yes, you can! The maximum size of the parts does not exceed 1000 mm.

It's a metal wood nut. If you insert it into the wood, you can then screw a bolt into it. We inserted these nuts to screw on the chair support later. Different colors of foam have different densities and stiffness.

подскажите, нет 5 см поролона марки HR у меня в городе, есть вариант в 3 см, нормально думаете использовать пирог из 3 см HR 5535 и 2 см EL3245 склеенных между собой, а так-же 5 см EL 3245 в начале и на спинке сзади. И сколько уходит ткани на 1 кресло шириной рулона в 140 см 4 или 5 метров?

Сергей, вообще если нет пилы для ППУ, как у нас в видео, лучше брать только EL разной жесткости. Потому что там где нужны скосы на ППУ, их можно будет сделать обычным канцелярским ножом. ППУ HR ножом резать очень сложно.

I do have some 18mm multiplex at home, but at my local hardware store there is also 15mm, so 15mm works perfect for me, and it’s cheaper as well, so maybe I would get 15mm anyways. I think its a pretty standard size, so I assume it’s easy to get at most places (with metric system at least).
