“Reversed” based on what documentation? I haven’t seen any authoritative doc/FAQ detailing the correct orientation.

@@karlkaufman2659 We agree and questioned the setup at delivery. I've actually tried them both ways and it doesn't seem to matter. The only manual we have doesn't really address filter orientation either. I'd love to hear from the people that designed it to see what they say.

Another video shows the filter installed the opposite, with the open face outward. What documentation did you reference to consider the above the correct orientation?

I have a new GRMC2273CF and the filter is way different with a gray and black side but just says put carbon side out and no markings, so annoying, which side goes out the gray or black?

Found this on the Frigidaire site. Here are some general steps for replacing a Frigidaire refrigerator air filter: Locate the air filter panel, which is usually on the top back center of the inside of the refrigerator. Pull the panel straight off to remove it. Pull the old filter straight out. Remove any plastic wrap from the new filter. Insert the new filter into the filter housing, making sure the exposed filter faces outwards. Push the panel cover back into place.

Thanks but for my model is totally unclear which is the open face as they are both open and the same just one side gray and one black, I put the black facing out
