How to Make a 3D Shadow Box Using the Cricut Explore Air 2

3D shadow boxes are such gorgeous gifts and so much fun to make. So in today's tutorial, I'm going to show you how to make this gorgeous mountain 3D shadow box using the Cricut Explore Air 2. I used SVG files from Creative Fabrica, put the files into Cricut design Space to get them ready to cut, and used the Cricut Explore Air 2 to cut out each layer of the shadow box design. This easy DIY shadow box Cricut craft can make a great gift for someone you love!

You definitely do need to design the paper to be at least a half inch smaller or more because the size of the entire frame is measured 8x8 on the outside of the frame side to side.

Turned out beautiful - I am so glad to see this as Cricut Design Space has a Nativity Scene that is layered in blues - I want to make it into a card that has a shadow box effect - the top layer of the card has accordian folder sides that I used on another card - I may do print then cut on a few layers to keep them one layer - can’t get the card too thick or heavy as it has to travel to Canada
