Wow awesome way to do it instead of having to remove manifold and oil cooler/housing... Would a closed thermostat cause engine overheating in 1 of these?

Got amarok bi tdi had coolant leak in the usual egr cooler replaced and still loses coolant and water pump and once running up temp then drive loses coolant which I think getting to much pressure hot and dumping out of the back of resivoir and bottom hose stone cold. Someone had used radweld in this before I done any repairs Any thoughts?

Hard to say without looking tbh mate , if it’s pressuring you’ll need to get a Headgasket test done
