Resist the temptation, put the 2nd coat of paint on. It will take half the time as the first coat and will significantly increase the sealing properties 👍🏼

I agree, its already prepped and clean, the finished result will last much longer too.
@nyla32354 жыл бұрын
That's what I was thinking too. Since the first is done, the 2nd would sure be easier and you get the durabiity of a more thoroughly covered foundation. Why do all that work and not get the best benefits - and you have enough paint to do it.

Your Forever Home is looking better every time I visit this channel. Your hard - and I mean HARD - work has paid off. Fine-tuning the rest of the property will be, hopefully, pleasant chores for you all, when the kids can make their wishes come true in collaboration with you Doug and Ashley. Maybe a secret garden at the back or out in the field, fenced in to prevent the wildlife gorging on your flowers, fruit, and veg! Benches, chairs, a small - oh no you're living in the USA - I mean big firepit, patio umbrellas, and a barbeque grill? and the list goes on and on! The possibilities are endless. Best wishes on your progress from little Ol' Denmark!
@fancybrooks31564 жыл бұрын
I remember the house in Kokomo. That's when I first started watching your channel. I believe you two were re-roofing at the time. Later, you two dug out a whole basement wall that was bowed out (or in) and repaired it - all because you were selling the house and wanted it to be in much better shape than it was when you bought it! That was highly ethical of you!
@diyfferent4 жыл бұрын
Yep, that foundation wall was the most laborous thing we've ever done. It was something that had to get fixed, I don't think any lender would have loaned on that house with the cracks that wall had, so it had to be done to sell and move on with our life to achieve our goals. Wow, that was such hard work, I never ever want to do that again!
