All that new wood just looks so good, very solid. I don’t know if I’ve said this before or just thought it, but Doug, you would be a great consultant for the manufactured home industry, for making the smaller details and adjustments that lead to greater longevity on a home. While it may have been a shorter workday on your investment property it definitely was a productive one. The taller windows are definitely a plus. I appreciate the fact that you do not work marathon days away from home. Homeschooling and family time is sooo significant in a child's developing mind. My precious Mother always made time everyday to dedicate :45- to an hour to just the two of us. We would talk, cook together, read together, etc. No phone or TV or interruptions of any type. Those are some of the many memories I have always treasured. I hoped to have children so I could do the same for them (and for myself), but an accident eliminated that choice. Seeing such devotion to your family always triggers such wonderful memories. Your channel provides much more than I think Ashley or Doug intended or realizes. I thank both of you for sharing your journey.

Loved the music with Doug’s shen yun, perfect accompaniment! Also love the larger window. Would you be able to trim that piece of siding along the bottom just enough to have it flat along the side? Although then maybe it wouldn’t line up correctly? Doug will figure it out along with the tiny screws on the other windows. We just put a storm door on and wish I would have remembered your advice from past videos to use butyl tape...even bought some but because a monsoon was around the corner, we were in a hurry and I forgot all about it!🤦 Checked it after 4 inches of pouring down rain...blessed it didn't leak!!
