Last night I was searching for creative ways to give money to a graduate, and I came across your video. Let me say I absolutely love this! I went to Dollar Tree first thing this morning & found everything needed to make it. It turned out great! My nephew graduates tomorrow. He's going to love it! Your tutorial was easy to follow. Hi Susy! 1 year later and here I am again. I referred back to your tutorial because another nephew graduates 🎓 this Friday. This is my 3rd time making this money gift box and let me say it has been a hit every single time! I did make one small change this time around. Instead of hot gluing the lid down to the box, I used velcro dots (which I also found at the Dollar Tree). This way my nephew can open/close it in case he wants to keep it to store items. I love all your DIY videos, keep them coming.

Liked this idea. A possible suggestion for the tassel - to make the tassel string longer, put it through the slot then glue it underneath the top so glue dot doesn't show.

If your worried about the tape, put the money in those clear long treat bags, come 20 in a pack for $2 at Walmart. Just cut them down to size of dollar and tape 😊 thats what I'm going to do when its my son Day ❤❤
