It’s great that you introduce your husband to different world cuisines. Even if he doesn’t like it, the fact that he has the awareness of it is still good. I was surprised that he found the miso soup sweet because Japanese sweets are the less sweet sweets that I’ve ever had - especially in comparison to American sweets. I hope that if you want make sushi again that you can find sushi rice because it does make a difference but ever since having sushi at authentic Japanese restaurant, I realize that it’s an art that requires some training. 😀

Hello Sis, I'm so glad to see that Vim Man is willing to try new things. I can't blame him because that roll looked really good. I love how you always improvise when it comes to ingredients instead of just quitting because you don't have EXACTLY what you need. I might have to try the juice cleanse, with my gut issues, it might just be what the Dr. ordered!

E S . Between me and you I don't believe your husband we'll be ready for the seaweed sheet because I wasn't ready 😂 for the unusual taste... You know I told you my family in Japanese my cousin is married to Japanese I wasn't ready for that taste 😅 Let's not talk about the squid I ain't ready for the octopus 🤣🤣🤣

It’s cool. More for me! ☺️ I’m not a squid or octopus fan either. That’s too advanced! 😆

Please don’t be too worried if your husband doesn’t embrace strange foods… Northerners and West Africans in general stick to particular foods and are not exposed to the diversity that the West indulges in… It also depends on where one grows up and what foods one is exposed to… I can see the California girl in you and can relate because I’ve lived in the US for decades…My food choices even as a Ghanaian are very similar to yours; though I love my native Eweh foods…I’m a very adventurous diner which other Africans find weird… Do you love Indian foods?
@DIYHOUSEANDFARM12 күн бұрын
Thank you. I like some Indian foods only because I’m not a fan of mint or curd in food. I prefer mint in drinks but I do have some favorite Indian dishes that are on repeat. I will share my foodie choices with myself and at the other channel. He doesn’t enjoy trying new food. It’s cool. 😀

Unbelievable! I also don’t like mint and curd in India or any dishes. I do not add them to any of my favorite Indian recipes which call for those two ingredients. I’ve always argued that mint belongs in cool summer drinks, and teas …I’ve never liked mint flavored desserts or ice cream either. As a Ghanaian child, I remember every cold and cough syrup tasting minty. I guess that’s where it all started . In fact, I love their Palak Paneer with those yummy cubes of fried farmer’s cheese which reminds me of Wagashi… Have you thought about making Palak Paneer with Bra leaves? Hopefully you love lentils…😊

You look good , nice skin tone and nice shape.....Africans do not like too much sweeten or sugary stuffs . like adding sugar in a soup or sauce the way western or chinese do in their cuisine. There are not fan of that and i agree with them. Why would you add sugar in a soup or a sauce?!
