@@Diypics That seems backwards to me - could be I'm not reading it correctly by my machine - bottom piece - scooped out, catches water, whatever, has to face up or it won't sit correctly. 🤷‍♀

Use thinner fabric. But mainly, just practice.

Why would you take the pin out to stop it from automatically retracting? Also using it on a tiled surface is not great, certain damage to the tiles and it is not stable as it slides around! Couldn't really see what you were doing when you placed the grommet onto the machine as you didn't do any close-ups! Apart from that the video was great!!

Brief and concise I give you an A+. However, demonstrating with the smallest size grommet I give you a D-. It would have been better if you used the #4 grommet so we could see what you were doing much better.

ur press is not working right...its missing a pin that gos through steel rod above the spring..so it compresses the spring....ur lifiting up the steel rod ...you should not have to do that...I take it its not made in the usa...

She says in the beginning of the video that it comes with a steel rod to make the top piece retract on its own, and shows how the rod works, but that she chooses NOT to use this rod and would rather manually lift the top piece. It’s all talked about in the beginning of the video if you watch it.
