How to Reset Car Window

Demonstration of how to reset a cars, automatic windows. Sometimes win mechanic work is done on a vehicle. The battery is disconnected and the windows on the vehicle need to be reset in order for the automatic features to work. In this video to show how to reset them.

@sno0407: Good question! It often depends on the car model, but generally, the first stop might be for manual control, and the second stop engages the automatic feature. If in doubt, start with the first stop and see if that gives you manual control.

@MrAkki2626 For your Nissan Juke 2018, try holding down the window switch for a few seconds after the window has fully opened and then fully closed. This might reset the auto function. If that doesn’t work, it’s best to consult your owner’s manual or visit your dealer for specific settings.

Everyone seems so happy in these comments and it's not helping me at all. I roll the window up and it rolls itself right back down. Did these steps for 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 15 seconds and even 20 seconds. Still the same issue 😡

@Jim-z6u: If your work truck's window won’t stop digging, it might be stuck in a loop! Try a window reset-hold the window switch up for 5-10 seconds after the window is closed. If that doesn’t help, you might need to look into recalibrating the window settings.

You need to calibrate your seconds. Each one and longer than the one before. It would take you all day to count to 100
