I got one for Christmas. My daughter saw it on one of Shea Whitney’s videos. Omg, I can’t believe how well it works, and it will take months to burn away this candle. It’s crazy. Ok my 2 cents...., Swedish dish cloths are nice but they go dingy and unsightly. I have almost given up the scrub daddy (YAZZ) cuz they don't last long enough and if you clean something with poppy seeds. the daddy looks like monkey pox..LOL!! LIFE CHANGING...Melissa makers reusable scrub cloths....They are AMAZING. black ,washable, cheese and poppy seeds do no harm. Thanks for this video, very fun!

Food grade Diatomaceous earth is a wonderful natural pest (ant/roach/silverfish etc) repellent. I've used it for years and it's great. You can sprinkle it in the nooks and crannies in the kitchen including under the stove, fridge, baseboards and your house will be pest free. Also, I LOVE this video! Back when I had pets, I put diatomaceous earth all over the floors when the dogs had a really bad flea infestation. I did this, and put shallow dishes of soapy water on the floor with a lamp to lure in the fleas at night. Not sure how many the DE took out, but the soapy water trick made a lot of progress.

You can also take an empty plastic bottle, compress the bottle and put the opening against the yolk. When you release the pressure it will suck the yolk into the bottle and leave the clear part of the egg behind. I add the separated yolk to my dogs food. They think they are living uptown, they absolutely love the raw yolk.

If you are a wine drinker, I have a bottle opener I ADORE! It's called cork pop and uses a pressure cartridge to "pop" out your cork. Super easy to get the cork out with just a twist. Upside...sturdy, easy to use, smallish in size...Downside... you have to replenish the cartridges, but 1 cartridge lasts a long time..

Mine is also black but the top is different. Sorry, it has no markings on it. The top is adjustable for taller candles. It puts the fragrance into the air but no flame. Love it! We have a cat and I'm old so it's much safer. Enjoy!

I love these types of videos and I love your choices! I have one of those electric scrubbers and I love it. I use it all the time on everything except the kitchen. It saves so much time. You should make a follow up with review for everything! Because over consumption is so prevalent especially in the home decor department I would love to see any more sustainable suggestions! Hi Kiva!! I actually just found your channel a couple days ago and I’m now binge watching your videos! I saw on a couple you have autoimmune diseases and are considering moving to a warmer climate. I moved from Illinois to Arizona for the same reason. First it was because I go to the Mayo Clinic, but also because of the dry, warm climate. You really do not want to move to places like Florida or California because the wet climate hurts just as bad as the cold. I feel so much better here. I hope you have more good days than bad. I have the veggie chopper. I used it today for mushrooms. It is a pain to clean though because you need to take the whole thing apart for a thorough cleaning because water moisture can get underneath the part where the button is that pushes out all the remaining bits.

This was a great video. I have a lot of stuff. But you shared some things I need. I’m definitely getting the dusting gloves. My blinds stay filthy. It’s always dust from outside. And I have three dogs who are always getting in the windows. I cleaned one in my living room before Christmas. I have others, but it was just too much. So I just used my feather duster. I asked my daughter for either a scrubber or a hand vacuum. She got me the hand vacuum. So I’m going to buy the scrubber. I already saved both things to my wish list. And I will be buying them. I bought both my daughters a candle warmer and a candle for Christmas. Now I need one for myself. But I’m not spending as much as you. But first I have to find a place to put one.

I paint vessels that are not in my colour of choice. A lot of the jug style vessels that I like are terracotta, so I paint them ivory or black. I use regular acrylic wall paint and it works perfect!

Hi Kiva! This was great I am still unsure that diatomaceous mats bc I like to change things up and don’t mind tossing the bathroom mats I the wash on a short cycle and hot dryer. They get revived and look pretty. I see many of your fans like the candle warmers! Me too. Also may I suggest you go to winterthur to see the Anne Lowe couture exhibit hard working lady who despite her financial success died without being able to work bc of terrible eyesight issues. Yet an inspiring story for creatives. I find creatives are too busy with their craft and often end up on the short end of the stick financially. Anyway the exhibit ends on 1/7/24. Go now! Bring your friends. There are a lot of women going to this exhibit and you will notice that immediately ! ❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰
