Doing a feature for someone’s song is collaborating… picking their side in a beef that you’re not involved in and refusing to work with people they dislike is colluding. Yb hasn’t really had a chance to mingle on house arrest, but he has done joint tapes with dababy, rich the kid, and Kevin gates. All of which seemed to bring negative repercussions or were held against yb or the other artist. It seems like every time he does something with someone that isn’t his life long friend from growing up, the indiustry finds a way to make him look like the loser or use that relationship to further exile him. The only person who helped yb and showed true genuine love was birdman. Stunna gave yb $60m to buy his way out of his Atlantic record deal and show him how to set up his deal to have full creative control. Them giving him props is kind of playing both sides in my opinion and I wonder if durk will feel some type of way after learning how the people who chose to do business with him are also courting his opps.
