I been on Future since early 2012 back when he came to perform here in Tampa. Always knew he was different from the start. Future definitely had a crazy run especially during the 2014-2017 era (his peak) his music still hits, but understand an artist can only go for so long. Even though his projects don’t hit as hard as the ones from his peak I’m still tuned in and excited every time he drops a project. Salute to Future!

@Misspacino even though he was influenced by other people he really did kind of invent a genre of pop rap trap that's the dominant form of all pop music to this day. His lyrics are a reflection of the social media age in that there's a level of detachment mixed with humanity that I'm not sure any other artist has matched without a team of ghostwriters behind them. I think with young thug he's more a natural evolution of Wayne (that's not a knock on him) he had his wave, I honestly to God think future will be looked at as a pioneer of pop music in general. I think Koreans and Latin artists will be citing him as a major influence.
