i like how he didn't really make albums or anything. he djed for different bands and djed at concerts/bars/hotels/etc, which didn't make him very famous and is the reason why his music was always soo goddamn freshh!

almost every dj is using serato scratch live, the set up is the same, two turntables, mixer, serato software, (where you need a laptop to run it) and two blank vinyls, all you music comes from you hard drive (mp3) straigh to ur blank vinyls. hope that helped...

Yea but he was open about his addiction to crack. Not most addicts are. I think his fear of flying when he had his near death experience made him have his relapse, then his girlfriend all came into one and he could not take it anymore. RIP DJ AM, your in a better place.
