This is extremely accurate with weddings. I say this all the time - " You never know what you'll be dealing with until you get there" lol even with the best communication this is sometimes true

Wow. I've never run into a situation where I was forced to use a piece of furniture supplied by the client or venue to DJ on. I think in this case, I could have been flexible like you and made it work, but man what a bummer. Great job Justin!!

I’m curious how you transition songs with different bpms. Are you playing the song out in full, are you echoing out, hopping on the mic and or using sound effects? Have you found more success jumping around bpms and mixing in 3-5 song pockets or gradually raising and lower the bpms?
@Justin_TheDJ4 ай бұрын
It really depends on the situation. If I gotta do a hard BPM shift a simple echo out works great!

When you play rap songs do you play the clean versions without the cussing in it

@@Justin_TheDJ hey man! I guess I'm about starstruck at this point to get a response from the actual man himself! Congratulations on your increase I've been watching you for a while. I did some studio engineering for bluff road records in baton rouge, gentlemen's club DJing, and a front man for a couple of decent bands. Now that I moved back to Texas I got a truck and the same trailer you got for the gear and was just hoping I can catch you before you get to ginormous, and link up like old school pen pals for the purpose of just networking and getting advice here and there and also I'm a decent support person if you're ever in the Marshall Texas area. Also wanted to see if you were interested in spinning at some local set ups and what you would charge.
