My heart goes out to you Terry, I know how you feel. I'm in Devonport - Tasmania -Australia, even here dancing is illegal despite our state having no cases of the virus. Today i'm officially calling it a day on a 38 year career as a DJ. With a garage full of equipment that i can't even sell because nobody can use it, and a Hyundai van that has sat in my yard for months. With no end in sight, protests and arrests in our neigbouring state of Victoria with our border closed till December, maybe it's time at 52 years of age to hang up the headphones for good! Life is over now, struggling each day not to end it all.

Yooo, watching this vid gave me the chills. Having to see you break down everything you were able to build over the years, (just for it to come to an temporary end) was so tough to watch man, seriously!! I hate having to see all these businesses having to close up shop, bc of this whole pandemic, is so horrible and tough to have to watch. Smh. Ive seen so many businesses falling apart bc of everything going on and im thinking like "WOW, I can't believe how so many lives and careers are being ruined and placed on hold". I just recently started watching all your content at the beginning of this whole mess, and I salute you 100% from 1 DJ to another!! I hate having to see things come to an end, esp when so much time, and effort has been spent on bringing it up. It reminds me of when the club I used to work for got shut down after being one of the ones that helped build it up. It literally happened almost the same way as with this pandemic, without any type of notice everything came to an end. Well, I'll be watching your content and hope things will be able to come back quickly for you man, I really do!! I'm pretty much in the same boat, with my job. Luckily I'm able to have other skills as well.

This was tough to watch, because it relates to all of us. 2020 was supposed to be my year to go full time and get an office, but then things blew up right before I made major changes. Some things are out of our control and just when we think we are rolling good, we get kicked down. Your ending was powerful. We WILL get through this and we WILL be stronger when it's over, but yes we have to walk through a lot of crap to get there. Stay strong Terry.

C. Terry.... as a fellow dj I feel your pain 100% My equipment as well is packed away in storage. I was even tempted to sell my van. Covid-19 is something NOBODY expected or saw coming. It has impacted everyone in the world in some adverse way, but we who provide entertainment for gatherings have really taken a gut shot. I agree with your words... this is merely a setback, not failure. Let's all use this time to re-evaluate, re-imagine, retool, and become better as a person individually. Like the Phoenix we will rise again. Take care my friend. Keep the faith. Stay safe. God bless.

Hey Terry 😢 this video broke my heart. It brought me to a reality that I was in denial about. I know you will be back soon and stronger and more successful. As for me I’ve taken this time to stream sets from my small rented studio which is also my office. I have a full time job for the City of New York and Dj gigs were my extra income. I like yourself was doing well and had bookings until the obvious. I have been using the time to reorganize and improve. Watching you move your gear let me know that this is serious....I pray for your quick return to the events that provide income and hope you are safe and healthy. BTW I’ve learned a great deal from your vids and will continue to support you. God speed with all respect and positive thoughts DJ AKB😞

The measure of a man is not what he attains but in his actions. You have dedicated your time to help so many others. That positive energy will see you through.
