This is one of Harvey's more seamless sets. As usual I hadn't heard most of the stuff before, but it was all good. Shame the crowd wasn't as rocking as when he played the hilarious Van Halen - Jump at the Electric Chair many years ago :P Props for playing Pure Imagination- amazing song! I did a blog somewhere where I compared like 20 versions to find the best version- this version won.

Vin .....with all due respect you must have cloth ears. DJ Three was in diapers when Harvey was helping to invent modern dance music as we know it today. This set has a narrative and is comprised of music that was recorded with real musicians in analog studios. Mixing music on vinyl that has a live drummer is far more difficult than mixing programmed electronic tracks. The glowing hues and innate musicality of this set combine to make it transcend. Harvey sounds like no other DJ in the world. He has has a singular vision, an over-arching sensibility that stamps the narrative on his sets and programs and mixes his sets with a light touch but with a flair for real drama that few can match. Try again.

Brimank the point is not about having sex and ecstasy per se, but he was trying to describe a feeling, youll get it when youll get it in your own experience. sometimes we think something sucks and then we experience something and we say "this goes too well with that other thing, man i wished i knew then" and boom your hooked. you expabd your mind and taste. its all part of living and enjoying life.
