I'm black Caribbean. Born on the islands, raised in Western Europe. What Hed is explaining about their culture and their morals is what I grew up with in my surroundings. Cultures fusing together have made it that these sentiments have been watered down around me. It's so refreshing to hear him talk about it like he does. I miss this.

DJ Hed set, a lot of the artists had a bop. But, I also see LA’s issue with wider appeal…. Pretty much all of them didn’t know how to perform. The OG’s really need to pull those artists aside and help them polish their skills and get ready for primetime. It was a real heavy “DIY” vibe up until the last few artists, as it got more and more seasoned as it progressed. Dude with the religious gangbanging song was probably the best of the amateurs 😂. Wallie the Sensei thats him lol.. after him it go more professional, starting with Westside Boogie
