Thank you all for helping this video reach 500,000 views. It means a lot to me that one of my greatest video game accomplishments has been seen by so many people around the world. Thanks for all of your feedback, your comments, your appreciation, and your love. I'm so happy this video has reached such a huge milestone (it's huge for me, anyway).

(21 minutes ago? You ARE alive! * shot *) Not a bleeping problem, man. This is amazing, and it's a great accomplishment in gaming history. SOOOO much practice and memorization here @_@ I'm sure Red Octane would be proud if they were still around.
@IKARUS-RG10 жыл бұрын
FerreTrip Haha yes, I am still around...and I do stay up to date with DJ Hero despite not playing it anymore. I'm glad you enjoy the video so much, and I'm happy you can respect the amount of work and practice that went into doing it. Even 2 - 3 years later, I still very much appreciate the attention it gets. Thank you!

I love thinking of this as like an underground old school dj going against some sort of DJing spirit, battling it out for their lives, with the spirit being overconfident to just about the end, but when the undergrounder is nearing the end, he gets a clue, 'have I really met my match?!"

Ive always had a love for games like that, where it makes you feel like you're fighting the game itself and the game doesn't like how good you are.
@IKARUS-RG9 жыл бұрын
Groundhog > Galvanize to 100% because: - Engine is less forgiving - More complex, scattered patterns in Groundhog - Lots and lots and lots of taps that the game isn't designed for Galvanize > Groundhog to play in general because: - Groundhog builds up to its difficulty while Galvanize remains consistent - Galvanize tests you during the song whereas Groundhog starts to test you near the end - More notes to hit as well (a minor thing)
@IKARUS-RG9 жыл бұрын
The turntable and the game engine have a hard time dealing with long strings of taps. The timing for the taps is quite strict and the turntables sometimes don't respond when you're mashing one of the buttons.

@maxninja0910 жыл бұрын
whocares1243 Keep at it, and listen to the song. If you give it time you will follow the rhythm and pattern of the scratches in the mix, and eventually you can 5* the mix without even using Euphoria. Just get some arm strength though, that chart KILLS your arms afterwards :P

People's perception of "using cheats" is a little misconstrued. Using cheats are for lazy people who wants to pass games with minimal to no effort. What this guy was doing is far from it. I'm an avid DJHero player and there is nothing I've seen that shouldn't be in that video. If he was using cheats, then he wouldn't need to bother with actually playing properly. In fact, he wouldn't be posting this video if he was. Know the game-play and the mechanics before you comment. To the people who are saying otherwise: You all are trolling or REALLY ignorant.

Omar Beydoun eh, you play it and see if you can do better. Upload it and show it to us. Then we'll see who's ignorant

@Connor G Even though he used Euforia, he still had to press the buttons himself. The only thing Euforia does (except from giving you extra points) is controlling the crossfader, not the buttons.
@technospyform15784 жыл бұрын
That's another reason why DJ Hero is harder. In DJ Hero the powerups automate or help you fix something. In Guitar Hero they just double your multiplier.
@lordfarquaad41743 жыл бұрын
This comment alone is ignorant considering many people have tried uploading fake runs, all the time as a matter of fact. But obviously this one is legit but just saying you can’t generalize like that

DJ Hero isn't unpopular because it's hard, it's unpopular because it's fucking impossible. GG man, you're a hell of a trooper.
@Code_Null4 жыл бұрын
just by looking at the two games, i have to say dj hero is tougher, while yes, guitar hero tends to have more complex patterns due to it having 5 possible notes at once, dj hero has you doing constant stuff no matter what your doing, there's no breaks which could easily weaken your hands, thats basically what groundhog tests, how much can you handle before breaking down? personally i havent tried it (i hope clone hero 2 has a dj hero mode so i could try it out) but by the looks of it, dj hero is tougher then guitar hero due to how much it requires from you. but guitar hero is tougher then dj hero due to it having more notes, so their both evenly matched guys

***** I had both but I liked the first one better. Just better songs to me I guess. After a while, even on Expert, this game gets easier with practice. It's not like Guitar Hero where you need to spend a whole month learning to perfect a song. In this game, they don't make it TOO hard, but it is still very challenging. That's why I stopped playing GH for DJ Hero.
