DJ saved CZW. He made those letters represent something besides senseless violence, blood, and guts at every show. Look back at all the old shows zandig booked, there was always at least one blood and guts math on every show usually involving the same guys. Mondo, Wifebeater, Zandig, Nick Gage, Messiah. Now the the death matches and violence has a meaning and a story behind it, thus making it more important.

Agreed. Zandig laid down the foundations, Hyde improved and refined CZW and took it to the next level. I met him at a CZW show years ago, really cool dude all around.

Czw was soft 7 years ago and it’s soft asf now. Nobody watches deathmatches for a story watch wwf or something for all that lmfao. Tournament of death fell off a cliff aswell.

@@ogskywalker5669 CZW was great 2000-2002 then in 2003 the BS started with that kind of merge with IWA Mid South, Chikara and IWS from Canada and I hated it. It just wasn't CZW anymore at all and from that point on it became a shell of it's former self.

Im sorry, but CZW to me is nothing more then a indie name now. The legacy it did have DJ (i mean fat ass) shit it down the shitter. I know he draws crowds but come on man, DJ is a mark for himself, and its "fuck you, its about me" type feeling. I had numerous ppl that worked for both Zandig, and DJ and honestly the boys respected Zandig, the boys dont respect DJ. Just because you can throw money at problems to make them go away. The heart and soul of CZW left around 2011. When you bought the company, might had the locker room back, but the locker room were ready to sick the knife in your back. Then you have third-party companies distrube shows from the women and almost make half way porn. Come on man.
