Goosebumps at 2:00, at 7 o'clock in the morning no less. Seeing and hearing this turntable genius doing what he does best, beats even the strongest coffee; I'm wide awake now! The title 'Magnificent' is well deserved, evidently. Always a pleasure to see a master performing at the top of his game. I used to like him when I was still a kid, and he's still got it, which means either I haven't grown up, or he is still as good as he always was. I'd say the latter is true.

Jazzy has always been incredible, Underappreciated and crazy underrated as a producer !! I need to see him live. This shit is dope as Hell. I loved the way he showed loved and stole the show from Kid and Premier on that Jam Master Jay tribute.

Jazzy Jeff has always been my favorite Dj. I learned my best stuff from him, I would copy his scratches & transforms in order to get better. I was one of the top 3 in my city. I just sold my tables last year.

Yo dj jazzy Jeff killed biggie on dem scratches he is so precise on his timing and listen how he uses the scratches as an instrument and added extra beats and then threw in the classic Philly flavor scratch called back to back for those who don't know what that is it's the part in the biggie song we're it sounds like this boob,boob thats back to back. unless you're from philly, you really have no idea of this man's GOAT status. Power99, the plat, the mixtapes that only circulated locally, the battles against dj cash money, etc. i saw him and will smith live at the Spectrum thanksgiving night in like '87 or '88 and it remains to this day the best hip-hop performance i ever did see.

Jeff is truly one remarkably and talented dj/producer. 1 of the icons and pioneers who is still relevant to this day and remains just as FRESH (80's term for ill/dope/cool/sick/etc... to the younger generation) as the day the world first heard of him. At 33 yrs young, I've followed his career amongst the other greats since my adolescent years and I gotta say this man has my utmost respect and is one of the reasons why good hip hop and the backbone of it (dj's), are still in existence,

Jeff is the man. I grew up in West Philly. I knew Jeff back in the day. He use to drive around West Philly in a white Supra with bazooka tubes in it. You could hear him comin for blocks. He would always play the mardi gra beat he made with the sp 1200 and some 808 kicks. I think back then, he was the only one around west philly with bazooka tubes in his whip.
