The '95 DMC World Final was also my first tape as well, even though I had seen footage of the battle way back in '89 when I was a kid. Oh, and A-Trak had just turned 15 when he won in '97.

Great interview, and it was interesting hearing his back story. Insanely talented DJ and he completely underplayed how much work goes into setting up and remembering all those cue points. Watch his sets, he hits hundreds of cue points by cueing the vinyl to 12 o’clock, and it all flows.
