The underlying sample "Strokin" from Dynasty is in moll (minor), if I get it right, that makes the track sound so melancholic. What a fitting video this is! The grey sky, the run-down buildings, the commemoration of lost comrades (or family), the bleak face expressions, the hate of our anti-hero when he meets the ugly villain and so much more little details. But finally, when he wins this contest for glory, he has maybe the best moment of his life and of course rides into the setting sun like a lonesome cowboy. I am so glad there are those select few emotional stories designed for men.
