Me and my people grew up on their shit, Kingpin Skinny Pimp, Playa Fly, Tommy Wright III, 8B & MJG, etc.. from the early 90s and falling off shortly after 2004, as far as 666's material.. People used to make fun of us for listening to it and calling it garbage. Especially the "mix tracks" as we called them, the ones with no bars and just looped vocal samples. They didn't get it. We got it. And we were the weird ones. If you were to tell us back then they'd be as respected as they are today, as we already respected them when most of their fans today were swimmin in daddy's nuts, I'd respectfully tell you that you were smokin crack.. But we'd tell you we still love em and DGAF. Never would've believed it. Funny how they blew up as big as they did. Pretty fucking cool actually. We used to fuck with a little reputable click of people through the mail and get the cassettes and sometimes CD burns (Later 90s) of the OG volumes straight from these cats in Memphis, through the then growing internet. I love their old shit. IT amazes me how many of the younger newjacks that dig this. Fuck yeah! I loved them so much, when I was in Illinois State Prison/IDOC, and they still had mail-order cassette services back in the day, I got Mystic Stylez, The End, Chpt 2: WD and it took them fuckers 3 months to send me a slip in the mail saying they were out of stock of Prophet Posse: Body Parts.. Lol.. Crazy.. That was when you could smoke tobacco still.. All this makes me feel old and I'm not even 40 yet..lol. 666 Mafia - LEGENDS. RIP - LORD INFAMOUS RIP - KOOPSTA KNICCA - 2 OF THE SICKEST WITHIN THE OG 666.

I became a fan of him as a person, Paul is a cool smart man….he found a great balance in life to success and doing what he loves, I think he was 3-6’s MVP at the VS where as Layzie Bone may have been Bone’s but Bizzy really knocked it out of the park on a few songs…to the point where you know you witnessing something special, I hope they do go back on tour together, all remaining members of both groups…I’d pay money to see it for sure…
