What an E.P. this was. Every track was heavy. 3 super dark cuts and the mellow, but wicked, 'Dreams'. This used to smash Lazerdrome!

This is Paul Pescé or DJ Peshay's first release, another 6 he released in 1993 alone. Some are regarded amongst the best early 90s drum and bass tracks, ever made. Peshay's next release arrived on ADR - After Dark Records, titles Peshay - Catch It, ADR-010, released mid-life in the label started during 1992 by Dave Charlesworth (a.k.a Energizer, Pharmacist, Edge of Darkness, Gentix, Point Blank, Fourth Dimension, Mind to Mind, Midi Magic and The Sourcer), unique for its Catalogue Number - XYZ013 - ADR at the end of 94,, issued the final release ADR-21, and this was the end... only, it wasn't. Things can get a bit strange, deep in De Underground. Before being brought back to life and reanimated 25 years post mortem, to issue the first ADR release in 2019, catalogue number ADR 001, The Sorcerer - The Elevator / Odyssey, had finally travelled quarter of a century through time to be released, having first issued another in 2018, D. Charlesworth* - Guinness Track as ADR 022. Rivet 1248 on Reinforced records, front label shouts to, Goldie, Kemistry, Storm. Ruffage Crew, who established Metal Heads as a label (now, Metalheadz), is it deliberate that it contains a misprint DJ Randall (Rest In Peace, legend's never die) reading as Ran "dell", or LTJ Bukem as LTS, why is that Gooverider printed as "Rider"? is that Grooverider, it is beside Fabio, so yes, but no, what gives? Around this era, 1992 - 1993, multiple records released with either incorrect or duplicate catalogue numbers, identifiers already released. Randall - Red & Black E.P, Oddball records, catalogue number UG 4, previously released as Flex - Final Program 3, De Underground, catalogue UG 4 meant to be Ruff Groove RTD - 001. Randall made multiple collaborations with Cool Hand Flex aka Pete De Underground Crew Aymer, who boasts 70+ pages, 12" single releases on Discogs (partial as many are unknown), Randall and Flex both had their own shows as DJs on Centerforce radio. Alex's Dance Paradise or Alix Perez who's really Alix Depauw, and apparently he get's confused with Alex Reese... and sometimes I put valium in peoples coffe, for a laff? The first boxes of the Protegé EP released, had been issued with a few carrying a mistake on the label, stating it was not El Peche but rather, Nebula II - Eye Memory, Benzine Fiend - Rivet 1247. Ironic thing is that "benzine" is a group of pharmacutecal drugs, "Benzos", cause memory problems, forgetfulness and somnolence (falling to sleep, for extended periods, sometimes standing up and even in the middle of the street, while standing up)... kind of... The earliest imprint of Metalheadz, Unreleased Metal, 'This Side' V.I.P Riders Ghost by Goldie and 'That Side' V.I.P Drums by Doc Scott, MH 00, is unique. No more than any other record, made of black vinyl and paper label affixed to each sides center. DJ Peshay Psychosis/Represent, the 2nd release on Metal Heads MTH 002, had a misprint on the hot pink label, "Ruf i ge" Crew with an i, instead of Rufage Crew... and one or two people, all somebody important and special, were not exactly happy! When a joke arrives at the worst possible time... Like the worst kind, when someone unexpectedly passed away, suddenly, it's a tragedy. Nobody enjoys it, kick in the guts when it arrives, and coincides with a joke, that goes from harmless fun, to 'not funny', bad taste and unless an appropriate response being sudden and appropriate, is not forthcoming, errors and miscommunication ensuing, and before you know it, the harmless joke is no longer amusing... terrible things unfortunately sometimes happen, and when least expected. Honestly, nobody really expects things to ever go that wrong, until they've happened, and you can't change anything, and sometimes, no matter how hard you even try... but... if you are genuine and sincere, give it your all, take your best shot... there is a chance, to be seen for unintentional, and eventually, someday, understood that bad timing, whatever... and forgiven. DJ Peshay MTH 002 came after Terminator, in 1993. Normally you'd be right thinking as Metal Heads first release, MTH in DJ Peshay release the catalogue number MTH 001, but... it doesn't exit. Terminator was the 3rd release on Synthetic records, that highly memorable Synthetic Hardcore Phonography / Synthetic Softcore Phonography, SYNTH3. The closest to the mythical MTH 001 could possibly be; Doc Scott / Goldie - Unreleased Metal - Catalogue number MH 00 is missing the T and 1 - Terminator... T100 travelled back in time to save mankind... that sample; "your talking about things that haven't been done yet". When someone you love is gone, and you can't ever say what you should have... please, try to be kind to each other and any cock ups, we all sometimes make in life, we're only human after all.

@@timthegallant Indeed that was the case. They were expensive and not as accessible. It wasn't until the late 90s most households got mobile phones.
