Yeah, way before. Even before the Technics DJ-1200 DMC mixer. Can't make out the brand of mixer, but it's a cool sign of the times that Disc has his mixer turned 90 degress. And they're using testpressings of the classic Bionic Booger Breaks for god's sake. :-) Lovely to see the groundwork of classic Qbert scratching coming to life here. :-)

I hate the fact these guys are so good in 94. Reminds me of the fact I saw Qbert whip out an insane Uzi/chirp/forward/fader/ flare thing at a guitar shop in 2015. Sounded like something Steve Vai would do. He remembered he was in public by the look on his face. He never did that again. P.S anyone ever find out who the turntable hermit Q used to talk about in magazine interviews? "Waaaay ahead of me. Lives in Hawaii. Initals are C.R!!"

dude that's and Vestax 05a! my first mixer! not the precursor to the 05pro, that was the Vestax 005, which had the first dual panel if i recall. the 05a was pretty crappy. all my faders died, but it had fader everything. upfaders, cross, monitor up fader and main upfader. all of mine died though, had to use transformers after that

@krippadonna I can't tell what mixer Disk is using but the other one is the Vestax 05 mkII or something like that. Basically Vestax took this mixer, added the eq section to the top of it and BAM!!! The 05 Pro was born!

Dj Qbert represtin. Dj Disk was not that good imo. Maybe he was cold or somethin. He was sort of sloppy and doing the same repetitive pattern everytime. Cold? Maybe but Qbert was on point!
